Ward is responsible for developing and implementing plans to market, design, and deliver our solutions and services in the energy generation, conservation, and demand response fields. He also manages our company’s social networking strategy.

To assist our customers in achieving returns on investments, he interfaces with utility incentive programs, and coordinates third-party financing. Ward’s relationship-building skills and depth of knowledge consistently earns new customers, and opportunities with existing customers.

Expertise

Ward offers more than 30 years of experience in business development and customer retention. He has served customers in a wide breadth of markets including higher education, healthcare, aerospace, manufacturing, local government, and hospitality.

Beginning his career as a Sales Manager with United Technologies - Carrier Corporation (UTC), Ward was promoted to Regional Manager where he grew their Strategic Partnerships Group to more than $110 million in sales. He then served as UTC’s Strategic Partnerships Group Director before joining ConEdison Solutions as Northeast Regional Sales Manager, helping ConEdison earn energy services opportunities.

At ConEdison, he closed the first energy services performance contract and micro-grids in Connecticut, and created alliances for utility privation and optimization throughout the Northeast U.S. Ward joined EMCOR Services New York/New Jersey, Inc. in 2018 to help expand our sales by growing strategic customer relationships.

In 2000, Ward graduated from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business’ Executive Development program. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering/mechanical technology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and his Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of New Haven.

Ward holds a Pilot certificate from UTC’s Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) program to implement continuous quality and productivity improvement. Additionally, he attended UTC’s leadership program, and received UTC’s Willis H. Carrier Global Quality Examiner certificate.

The Personal Side

In his spare time, Ward volunteers at the Dorothy Day Hospitality House homeless shelter. He is also the co-founder of Healthcare Executives Network, the largest and fastest-growing online healthcare networking group for sharing best practices, news, and innovations.
