Value Delivered

For this project, we assisted with the design and implementation of an ultraviolet-C (UV-C) lighting system that would help remove up to 99 percent of the coronavirus strain that causes COVID-19, and 90 percent of the influenza virus.

An added benefit is that this system also disinfects the coils, which helps to reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment efficiency.

Client Objectives

The building owner was looking to minimize as much risk as possible to their returning tenants during the COVID-19 pandemic. They needed a solution to help improve indoor air quality.

Solutions

We configured a system to help achieve the client’s indoor air quality goals, and provided all the trade work for a turnkey installation.

In compliance with all required safety guidelines, we retrofitted nine air handlers with UV-C lighting and controls.
